POINTE JAZZ TAPMODERN BALLET POINTE JAZZ TAP MODERN BALLET POINTE JAZZ TAP MODERN JAZZ BALLET

This year the dance school is celebrating it's 10th Anniversary. We have come a long way since 1999. The school started with around 50 pupils and classes two days a week, we now have around 300 pupils and classes 6 day a week. Every two years we put on a huge dance show involving all the pupils in the school. For our first show in 2001 we used a school hall as our venue then as the school grew in size we had to move to bigger venues and in 2003 we moved to a professional theatre. For the past two shows in 2005 & 2007 we have used Aylesbury Civic Centre, this is in the process of being rebuilt. As this year is our 10th anniversary we wanted to find a bigger venue to celebrate the schools success and say a big thank you to all the parents and pupils who have been very supportive over the past 10 years.

For our 10th Anniversary show we are using our biggest venue yet. The show will be held at the Wycombe Swan Theatre in High Wycombe on Sunday 27th September 2009. There will be two performances one matinee @ 2pm and one evening @ 6.30pm. The auditorium holds 1000 people, it is a fantastic opportunity for all the pupils to perform in a professional theatre and put in to practice everything they have learnt in class. This will be our biggest production to date, there is already a huge amount of excitement growing from pupils, parents and staff about '10 YEARS ON'! Please click on the 'Shows' section of the menu, this page is dedicated to '10 YEARS ON'
